Our Story
Our names are Jason and Kristin Lentz. We met in 2014 through CrossFit; I was coaching at the time and Kristin came to one of our seminars. Fast forward seven years later and we are now married with our first little one, Finn. It has always been a dream of mine to open my own gym. After coaching and managing gyms for the past 7 years, that dream has become a reality with CrossFit Convergence! I must admit that starting a gym during a pandemic isn’t ideal, but we have been overwhelmed by the support from our members. We opened CrossFit Convergence as a place to bring people together and build relationships, while improving their health and fitness. We want to create a culture of encouragement, inclusion, and growth, and every day we strive to make fitness safe, effective, and fun!
Staff
CF-L3, CF Mobility, CSCS I started coaching CrossFit 7 years ago after finishing my degree in exercise science. Since then, I’ve helped countless clients achieve their goals and become part of the CrossFit community. I love that CrossFit is something that anyone can do. Every workout can be fun and effective for anyone! We love our CFC community and can’t wait for our Baby Bear to grow up in the gym!! See you in the gym!
CF-L2, CF Gymnastics I moved to Tallahassee in April of this year from Crestview, where I started CrossFit back in 2018. Before starting CrossFit, I was actively competing in MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I’m also a member of USA Weightlifting and compete in meets at least twice a year. As a coach, I love to help people work through the struggle and leave the gym better than they came. I’m stoked to be a part of CFC and can’t wait to see you in the gym!
CF-L1 My fitness journey began a bit later than most. I was in my 30s, a wife and mother of two little girls, when I decided to make my health and fitness a priority. A good friend of mine introduced me to CrossFit in 2015. What started out as a three month experiment has become a lifelong obsession. After receiving my CF-L1, I began coaching in January 2020. As a coach, I am privileged to witness countless athletes progress toward their personal goals in an encouraging atmosphere.
CF-L1 My name is Chelle (🐚-e). I tried CrossFit in 2019, and when I came back to Tallahassee in 2020 it became my passion. I’m a former member of the US Navy, and I’m an RN that has specialized in Electrophysiology and Cardiac Intensive Care. I obtained my L1 Certificate in July 2021 in order to grow as an athlete and then to share my passion with others. I love that no matter your age, condition, history, there is something we can do to help your state of wellness. You won’t change my mind!
